Angeline Merchant

Angeline L. Merchant was born on July 14, 1958, in Primavera, Paraguay. She peacefully passed away on December 19, 2023, at her home in Prairieville, LA.

She dedicated her life to helping others as a Registered Nurse, working tirelessly the last 10 years at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center.

Angeline is survived by her husband, Paul Merchant. Together, they raised their children, Karin Dabney and Erik Lundgren.

Angeline is also survived by her siblings, Owen Barron, Adolf Barron, Gert Anderson, Ivan Barron, Gretchen Michael, Peter Barron, Mary Barron, Alvin Barron and David Barron.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Elffiede Braun Barron and father, William Leslie Barron.

The funeral service to honor and celebrate Angeline's life will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 11:00 am at the First New Testament Church, 3235 Aubin LN, Baton Rouge, LA. A public viewing will precede the service at 10:00 am, allowing friends and extended family to pay their final respects.

Following the service, Angeline will be laid to rest at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA.

Angeline's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her kindness, compassion, and loving spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and service will never fade away.
