Ardis Netto, age 92, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice in Baton Rouge, LA at 12:07 a.m. A resident of Livingston, LA and native of Crossroads, MS. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy having served during World War II in the Normandy Invasion in France. He retired as a welder. Visiting at First Baptist Church, 16735 Hwy. 16, French Settlement, LA on Monday, March 5, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until service at 3:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Herb Cowan and Rev. Tommy Shipp. Burial in the church cemetery. Survived by his wife, Mary K. Netto; six daughters, Carolyn N. Gillespie, Tina N. Baumy (Bob), Linda N. Rouyea, Barbara Pigron (Jimmy), Pam Johnson, and Yvonne Matthews (Terry); four sons, Troy Fayard (Shontel), and former daughter-in-law, Alaine Fayard, Ricky Fayard (Kathy), Samuel Fayard (Michelle), and Charles Harper (Felicia); sister, Claudine N. Ladner; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Rodney and Marceline Netto; two sisters, Alberta Newman and Myrtle Smith; and three brothers, Charles Netto, Claiborne Netto, and Eddie Netto. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Craig Baumy, Chris Baumy, Shawn Bates, Gregory Wilson, Thomas Johnson, Brandon Fayard, and Bryce Fayard.
