Barbara G. Floyd

Barbara G. Floyd, a resident of Gonzales, passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 76. She was born on March 4, 1949, in Natchez, MS.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Charity Faith Fife; son-in-law, Chris Fife; grandson, Tristun Fife and Lindsey; granddaughter, Ivey Fife, great-granddaughter, Sunny Fife; brother, Robert “Bobby” Hunt; sisters, Sandra Galtier and Glenda Sanger; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Geneva Byrd Floyd.

The world lost a beloved momma and mawmaw. Barbara was known for her humor, and she loved to laugh. She gave an example for everyone on how to care for others. Barbara was the heart of the family.

The family will hold a private service to honor Barbara’s life and memory.
