He wrapped his arms around you and whispered Come to Me On Saturday, the 7th day of May 2011, Heavens gates opened wide and God welcomed His child home. As Barbara Robinson closed her eyes in sleep, she awoke in the presence of Jesus. She is now reunited with her mother, Joyce Beach, her grandson, Brad Robinson, and many others who have gone on before. During her time here, she touched many lives in her own special way. She was born on Oct. 20, 1942, in Baton Rouge, and was a resident of Slaughter since 1995. Leaving loved ones behind to await that grand reunion day, she is survived by her husband of 50 years, Elmer Robinson, and their two sons and two daughters and their families, Ronald, Lucy, Caitlin and Adam Robinson, Bubba, Karan, Brittney and Brooklyn Robinson, Tanya, Tim, Brett, Timothy II and Cassandra Comans, and Joyce, David and Austin Cart. She is also survived by four sisters, a brother and numerous other extended family members and friends. Awaiting such a time when tears are wiped away by Gods own hand at that family reunion in Glory land Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services. Visitation at Lockhart Road Baptist Church, Denham Springs, on Monday, May 9, from 4 p.m. until religious service at 7 p.m. Visitation at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Hineston, on Tuesday, May 10, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 2 p.m. Interment in Mount Moriah Church Cemetery.
