alignjustifyA resident of St. Amant, she died on Sunday, August 9, 2009 at her home. She was 63. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 West New River St., Gonzales, on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 from 5pm until 9pm. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 8:30am. Religious services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel at 10am. Burial will follow in Whitehall Cemetery in Whitehall. She is survived by her daughter Chris Picou and her longtime companion Lionel Templet. Lionels children, John Templet and Hope Hancock and her children; Zeke, Issiah and Nevaeh, her twin brother, Joey Keller, god-daughter, Valerie Beard and husband Marty and numerous nieces and nephews.
