Clara Marie Rodrigue Milano, born on March 27, 1935, in Donaldsonville, La. She is 87 years old. She graduated from St. Vincent Institute now known as Ascension Catholic High School, she was Valedictorian of her 1952 class. She grew up helping the Nuns and anyone who needed her help. She went to work at the Court House in Donaldsonville, after graduating, and there she met her now husband of 68 years. They married and moved to Baton Rouge where she became a lifetime member of Saint Agnes Catholic Church. She was very devoted to her faith. Going to church every day until she could not go anymore. Here she raised her family and went to work in the insurance business for 46 years. She loved to cook for her family and friends. It gave her great joy. She also loved flowers and plants. She was an Avid LSU & Saints fan. After she retired in 2000, she a Dickie traveled and enjoyed going to the casino. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her son Richard Dale Jr., her parents, Henry J. Rodrigue, and Valerie Leblanc Rodrigue. Her brothers Henry J, Jr. (Brother Gaspar S.C.), Ernest, her sisters Louise Ann and Marion Melancon. She is survived by her husband and Caregiver for 8 years, Richard Dale Sr., her son Jerome (Tina) and her daughter, Charlotte DeLatour (Louis) her Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren whom she dearly loved. Visitation will be at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Baton Rouge on August 23, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Agnes Catholic Church or Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.
