Donald Edwards

Donald Edwards, 72, was called home by our Heavenly Father on June 14, 2023. He was born on December 14, 1950 in Baton Rouge. He is survived by his son Matthew, sister Peggy, nieces Tina and Wendy, nephews Jason and Jared, chosen son Jeffrey and chosen daughter Haley, and other family and loved ones. Don proudly served in the Army from 1971 - 1976. He spent his life believing in God and that Jesus was the only way to salvation. He loved and cared deeply for his loved ones and would do everything he could for them. He will be greatly missed, but his legacy will live on in all of us. A graveside service will be held on June 22 at 9 am at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make donations to St. Jude or Tunnel to Towers Foundation; these are two charitable organizations Don was an avid supporter of. In honor of him, we ask that you also dress casually.
