Donald Haydel

Donald Lee Haydel passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022. He was a longtime resident of Geismar, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gertie Kling Haydel and Frank Haydel.

He is survived by his godchildren and numerous cousins. Donald served our country in the United States Army was a proud Vietnam Veteran.

A special thanks to all the family and friends who helped in his final years.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 9, 2022, from 9:30 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville.

Burial will follow at Serenity Oaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or any organization of your choice.
