Donald Wayne Yates, Sr., passed away at his residence in 

Gonzales on April 20^th, 2024, at the age of 61. He was born August 16^th, 1962, in Slidell.

He is survived by his children, Eleise, Donald Jr., Yvonne, John, Makailah, Kaleigh, and Kho’Lee, Chasity; grandchildren, Macklyn, Blakely, Cohen, Zaylee, Ledger, Stacie, Nicholas, Rodney, Joshua, Jayden, Raegan, Kingston, Harrison, Cameron, Tristin, Skyler, and Mason; and siblings, Man Crosby, Carolyn Kahl, Ed Crosby, Brenda Ard, Ann Dean, and Johnny Yates.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Chantel Nickens; grandchild, Raiden; parents, Johnny Yates, and Vallie

Yates; and siblings, Willie yates and George Yates.
