Earl Harrison Sr., age 75, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at Our of Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, at 7:15 p.m. A resident of Livingston, LA and native of Winnsboro, LA. He graduated from LSU Law School. He was a former East Baton Rouge Parish City Councilman for Ward 2, District 3. He retired as attorney for the East Baton Rouge Parish Public Defenders Office. Visiting at Springville Baptist Church, 22902 Hwy. 42, Livingston, LA, on Saturday, October 10, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. until service at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Steve Arledge. Private burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Baker. Survived by his daughter, Stacey Dupre and husband, John; two sons, Earl Harrison Jr. and wife, Shelia and William Michael Harrison; three sisters, Gloria Hamilton and husband, Allan, Kay Hayward, and Sandra June Harrison; five grandchildren, Rebekah Vincent and husband, Garrett, Liam Harrison, Brynne Harrison, Josef Harrison, and Joshua Dupre; and one great grandchild, Brielle Elise Vincent. Preceded in death by his parents, William A. and O.L. Harrison; two sisters, Nora Sue Harrison and Susan Diane White; and one brother-in-law, Ken Hayward.
