Elnora Ann Rivere Gaudet, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 3:42 p.m. at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge, LA. A resident of Sorrento, LA and native of Brusly St. Vincent, LA. Visiting was held at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA on Saturday, May 23, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until service at 10:00 a.m. Burial at Richardson Cemetery in St. Amant, LA. Survived by her daughters, Jenny and Bill Thomas, Melissa Gaudet, Melanie and Derek Newman, Melinda and Boogie Breaux, and Becky and Ernie Harper; sons, Lester Gaudet Jr., Adam Gaudet, Kenny Gaudet, Elvis and Denise Gaudet, Wilbert and Jennifer Gaudet, and Jason Gaudet; sisters, Lillian Lejeune, Dora Rivere, Barbara Aucoin, and Joyce Breaux; brother, Calvin Rivere; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Murphy and Lillia Rivere; former husband, Lester Gaudet Sr.; son, Jeffery Gaudet; grandson, John “Trey” Blazier III; sister, Lois Aucoin; and brothers, Bobby, Vincent, and Nelvin Rivere.
