Frederick Miller

Frederick “Fred” Charles Miller passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 76.  He was born in Caribou, Maine on January 6, 1947, and resided in Baton Rouge for the last 50 years.  Fred is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandra “Kay” Hazel Miller; son, Andrew Miller; daughter-in-law, Anne Miller; grandsons, Jean-Paul and Tucker Miller; brothers, Robert (Joyce) Miller and David (Sarah) Miller; along with numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlton and Leona Miller; sisters, Ava Clay and Carlene Cronquist.  Fred served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War Era.  He later graduated from Louisiana Tech University in architecture.  He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and spending time with his family.  Fred’s fun and loving personality will be missed by all.  A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 2:00pm at the Louisiana National Cemetery in Zachary, Louisiana.
