GLORIA BOURGEOIS GUIDRY
A resident of Prairieville, she died on August 4, 2008. She was 58. Visitation will be held at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 West New River St., Gonzales on Thursday, August 7, 2008 from 5pm until 9pm. Visitation on Friday, August 8, 2008 will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville beginning at 9:30 am. Rev. Eric Gyan will celebrate a mass of Christian burial at 11:30am. Interment will follow in Hope Haven Cemetery on Hwy 30, Gonzales. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Guidry, mother, Rita Bourgeois, father-in-law, Woodrow Guidry, a daughter and son-in-law, Marci and Sean Templet, three 3 sons and daughters-in-law; Peter and Karen Guidry, Norman and Stacie Guidry and Melvin and Carrie Guidry, sister and brother-in-law, Juanita and Joe Fife, two 2 brothers and sister-in-law; Douglas and Tilly Bourgeois and Myron Bourgeois and girlfriend, Becky Baker, three sisters-in-law and husbands; Liz and Curtis Wells, Ginger and Dale Zimmer and Becky and John Hearndon, one brother-in-law and wife, Al and Cathy Guidry, nine grandchildren; Reid and Rhet Templet, Aimee, Nicole, Morgan, Lexie, Meghan, Zackary and Abigail Guidry, two god-children; Chris Fife and Halli Wade, two constant companions, her beloved dogs, Ali Lyn and Bud Lite and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Freddie Bourgeois, mother-in-law, Yvette Guidry and sister-in-law, Judy Lawler. She was a former member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church Separated and
