God’s garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best. On Wednesday, June 15, 2022, Howard Wallace, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend passed away at the age of 62, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana after losing his courageous battle with cancer.
Howard was born on December 30, 1959, in Mount Vernon, IL to Jake and Carrie Wallace. The simplest pleasures of life brought him joy and he loved spending time with family and friends. Although his personality is too big to sum up in words, he was funny, selfless, and most importantly always put others before himself. Howard was an honorably discharged veteran with the Army National Guard. He was a beloved family member of the Haynes family for over 40 years, as well as a dedicated employee of Fun Fair Park, Blue Bayou Water Park and Haynes Motor Lines.
Howard is survived by his wife, Sharleman Wallace, two daughters, Tameicka Wallace, Aleshia (Jay) Barges, six grandchildren, one great granddaughter, five brothers, two sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
