Jackie Templet

A resident of St. Amant, she died Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Gonzales. She was 59 and a native of Tylertown, Miss. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, on Wednesday, Feb. 9, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., conducted by Deacon Thomas Labat. Interment in St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church Cemetery. Survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Ernest Templet daughter, Jennifer Marie Templet and fiance Alex Holder three sons, Jason Mathew, Michael James and Jeffery Paul sister, Sheila Pegg aunts, Yvonne Kirkpatrick and Nita Yarborough two grandsons, Kaden Tyler and Jaxon Jacob Holder special friend, Johnathan Keever goddaughter, Angela Gonzales longtime friend since fifth grade, Mary Crochet and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Preceded in death by her mother, Norma Hebert father, Huey Givens stepfather, Lewis Hebert brother, Kevin Hebert and maternal grandmother, Sallie Arnold.
