Janet Landry

Janet Landry, age 84, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2022. She was a native of Brusly St. Martin and resident of Belle Rose. She is survived by her sister Theresa Hensarling. Nieces and nephews, Michael Landry (JoAnn), Debbie L. Alleman (Sidney), Greg Landry (Kay), Pat Scioneaux (Andree), Lloyd Giroir, Jr. (Suzanne), Glenn Giroir (Michelle), and Sandra Rose (John). Many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Moise and Josephine Blanchard Landry, and siblings Dallas Landry, Norris Landry, Gertie Landry, Simon Landry (Elmina), and Lucy L. Giroir (Lloyd Sr.), brother-in-law Jimmy Hensarling, and great-great-nephew, Brennan Bujol. The family would like to thank the Chateau D’Ville Nursing Home, Dr. Eric Gravois, Cardinal Hospice, Father Tomi Thomas, and Rose Street Neighbors. Private Services will be held at Ascension Funeral Home in Gonzales. Friends and family are invited to attend the Graveside Service at St. Jules Catholic Church Cemetery in Belle Rose, Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 11:30 am.
