Jo Ann Guedry, age 76, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Our Lady of the Lake Ascension in Gonzales, LA at 7:20 p.m. A resident and native of St. Amant, LA. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visiting on Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 44450 Hwy. 429, St. Amant, LA from 9:00 a.m. until funeral service at 11:00 a.m. celebrated by Father Joshua Johnson. Entombment in the church mausoleum. Survived by her husband of 60 years, John Nolan Guedry Sr.; daughter, Paula Gros and husband, Raymond; three sons, John Nolan Guedry Jr. and wife, Edie, Dale J. Guedry Sr. and wife, Eva, and Eric J. Guedry; sister, Laverne Moore; brother, Cecil Anderson; ten grandchildren, Robin Dedden and husband, Justin, Dale Guedry Jr., Darren Guedry and wife, Kristi, Justin Sealy, Rachel Pallais and husband, Javier, Jeffrey Sealy, Tray Haydel and wife, Hollie, Hunter Haydel, Shelly Landry and husband, Steve, and Tracy Boudreaux and husband, Timmy; and nineteen great grandchildren, Brayden, Caroline, Kaden, Peyton, Alaina, Braelyn, Carson, Emersyn, Jadeb, Kylee, Chase, Tanner, Chance, Jason, Tayden, Brantley, Nevaeh, Jerilyn, and Kinley. Preceded in death by her parents, Ehlert and Leona Anderson; sisters, Earline Elisar, Rosalie Gill, and Alice Faye Buratt; and brothers, Honore, Ehlert Jr., Clyde, and Jimmy Anderson. Pallbearers are Dale Guedry Jr., Darren Guedry, Justin Sealy, Jeffrey Sealy, Justin Dedden, Javier Pallais, and Hunter Haydel. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
