Jose Javier De La Roche, age 53, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA at 11:55 a.m. A resident of Baton Rouge, LA and native of Cali, Valle Del Cauca, Colombia. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA on Thursday, February 6, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visiting on Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at St. George Catholic Church, 7808 St. George Dr., Baton Rouge, LA at 1:00 p.m. celebrated by Father Robert Halter. Inurnment in the church mausoleum. Survived by his wife, Katia Andrea Carreno; father, Rubiel Vargas; mother-in-law, Amy Carreno; daughters, Nicole Rincon and Valerie Rincon; sons, Jose Gregorio De La Roche, Ricardo Jose Rincon, and Matthew De La Roche; sisters, Maria Victoria Vargas, Alejandra Vargas, Francia De La Roche and Martha De La Roche; brothers, Juan Carlos De La Roche, Rubiel De La Roche, Julio De La Roche, and Andres De La Roche; brother-in-law, Miguel Zamudio; grandchildren, Sebastian De La Roche and Gabriella Rincon Giraldo; and many other family members and friends.
