Jozo Babic "Dedo"

Jozo Babic, age 66, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away at Ochsner Medical Center on Sunday, February 19th, 2023, at 12:20 am. He was born in Kakanj, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Mr. Babic was a water well driller in the construction industry. He also served in the military in Bosnia.

He is survived by his wife, Milka Babic; daughters, Sanja Babic Ross and Adrijana Babic Zanders; son, Mijo Babic; sisters, Jagoda Komso and Ljuba Kordic; brothers, Pepo Babic and Franjo Babic; and his loving grandchildren, Elton, Aleksis, and Aaliyah Ross, and Izabella and Eli Zanders.

Mr. Babic is preceded in death by his mother and father and two sisters.

Visitation will be at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 3625 Hwy 75, St. Gabriel, LA 70776, Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 8:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Daddy was a man of many talents but being a dad and grandpa is what he did best.
