Judy Pauline Babin Cook

Judy Pauline Babin Cook, age 82, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025. A resident and native of Prairieville, LA. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Visiting at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Prairieville, LA on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Andrew Merrick. Burial at Prairieville Cemetery.

Survived by her husband Leroy J. Cook; three sons and daughters in law, Bret and Belinda Cook, Paul and Rhonda Cook, and Dennis and Kristi Cook; Grandchildren; Adam and wife Heather Cook, Taylor and husband Tyler Hoover, Andrew Cook, Sean and wife Shelli Cook, Seth Cook, Brennen and wife Brenna Cook, and Blair and husband Nate Melancon; Great-grandchildren, Reece, Emmitt, Emerson, Piper, Briggs, Hayes, Gemma and Millie; brothers and sisters, Agnes Toni Haydel, Kathy and Roy deVeer, Ira Paul Babin II and Timothy and Lee Babin. Preceded in death by her son, Kurt Cook, her parents, Ira and Mary Theo Webb Babin.

Pallbearers will be Adam, Andrew, Sean, Seth, Brennen Cook, Tyler Hoover, Nate Melancon and Mike deVeer. Gathering following burial at Dutchtown Baptist. Donations may be made in her memory to Prairieville Cemetery, P.O Box 531, Prairieville, La. 70769.
