Landon Triche

It is with great sadness that the family of Landon Triche announce his passing. Landon was born July 6, 1995 and walked into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday, November 27, 2016, at the age of 21. His life would seem too short by many, but those who are blessed to have known him, understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time on which one lives. He is a 2014 graduate of St. Amant High School and a student of River Parishes Community College. Landon will be remembered for his ability to love wholeheartedly, to make people smile, his infectious laugh, and would do anything for others. He loved fishing, playing poker with his friends, and LSU football and baseball. Family and friends will celebrate his life Thursday, December 1, 2016, at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA, from 10:00 a.m. until service at 1:00 p.m. conducted by Pastor Anthony Rice. Burial following at Holy Rosary Mausoleum. Landon is survived by his identical twin and best friend, Payton James Triche; an older brother, Brandon Quick; mother and stepfather, Darla and Mike Griffin; father and stepmother, Kenny and Gitana Triche; grandparents, Ronald Delaune, Arlene Yszara, Ernest and Gerrie Triche; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Preceded in death by his maternal great grandmother, Beulah McCulough; maternal great grandparents, Yvonne and Henry Delaune; maternal grandmother, Carole Delaune; paternal great grandparents, Ernest Sr. and Effie Triche, and Allen Sr. and Dorothy Ordeneaux. Pallbearers are Payton Triche, Reece LeBlanc, Brock Bowen, Tyler Walker, Jacob DeSoto, and Branson Bowen. Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Quick, Kolby Delaune, Kase Delaune, Karson Delaune, and Boyd Courville. Please visit the online guestbook.
