Larry Villeneuve

Larry Paul Villeneuve, Jr., a resident of Gonzales, passed away on May 26, 2022, in Baton Rouge at the age of 61. He was born on September 22, 1960.

He is survived by his wife, Jan Villeneuve; mother, Dorothy “Dot” James Villeneuve; daughters, Ashlee Villeneuve and Falynn Rouyea; sons, Jared Villeneuve, Jade Villeneuve, and Spencer Rouyea; grandchildren, Jared James “J.J.” Villeneuve, Jr., Mallory Villeneuve, Jace Paul Villeneuve, Preston Lane Rouyea, and Kace Michael Rouyea; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lisa and Kevin Badame, Dana and Willie Neusetzer, and Cindy and Jamie Gautreau; and brothers and sister-in-law, Cairue “C.J.” and Lisa Villeneuve and David Villeneuve.

Mr. Villeneuve is preceded in death by his father, Larry Paul Villeneuve, Sr.; brother, Ricky Villeneuve; maternal grandparents, Cairue and Octavie James; and paternal grandparents, Larry J. and Effie Villeneuve.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Ascension Funeral Home in Gonzales, from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Monday from 10:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Mark Catholic Church in Gonzales. Burial will follow at St Theresa Catholic Church Cemetery.
