Lillian Mire

MIRE, LILLIAN L. YAN

A resident and native of St. Amant, she died at 10:35 am on Friday, January 18, 2008 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Baton Rouge. She was 97. Visitation will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant, on Saturday, January 19, 2008 beginning at 9am. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am by Rev. John Kohler. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by her god-son, Brent Lambert and wife Midget, great-nieces; Jody St. Pierre, Brandi Browning and Trudy Juneau and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurent Nig Mire, parents; Pierre and Alphonsine Lambert, two brothers; Linton Bill and Windom Brown Lambert, and four sisters; Lydia Bourgeois, Ethel Bougeois, Etta Mayers and Elva Haydel. Ascension Funeral Home, 426 West New River St., Gonzales in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
