A native of White Castle, Lynn died early Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at his home in Prairieville. He was 60. During the Vietnam War he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and received a Purple Heart. He was employed by his nephews, Richie and Perry Doiron, at Stratos Elevator Co. Visitation at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, on Friday, Nov. 27, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home chapel on Saturday from 10 a.m. until a religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Kirt Jones, pastor. Cremation to follow. Survived by his wife of one year, Sarah McCullin Doiron; a daughter and son-in-law, Kristi Lynn and David Justice; a son and daughter-in-law, Corey and Jenny Doiron; two grandsons, Aiden Pierce and Archer Doiron; stepgrandchildren, Brandon and Devyn Justice; sisters, Mary Francis Tee Toups and her husband, Leon Toups, and Patricia Patsy Gomez and her husband, E.J. Gomez; and sisters-in-law, Norma Rae Doiron and Mary Jean Doiron. Also survived by his beloved mother-in-law, Billie McCullin; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Freddie Sr. and Jesse Annie Falcon Doiron; and two brothers, Ludrick Doiron and Freddie Doiron Jr. Lynn was a graduate of Catholic High School and attended Nicholls State University.
