In Loving Memory of Isabelle “Belle” Mary Boudreaux Broussard, A devoted wife, sister, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully Friday, December 15, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was 95.
Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 5:30pm to 9:00pm. Visiting at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Prairieville, on Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 9:30am to 11:00am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am with the Rev. Andrew Merrick. Interment will follow at Hope Haven Cemetery, Gonzales.
It seems only fitting that she join her husband so quickly as they had not spent a Christmas apart in their 76 years of marriage.
She is survived by her three daughters Ruby (Daniel) Gautreau, Jan Hebert, Diane (Mike) Altazin; a daughter-in-law Mary Ann Broussard; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; along with many other family and friends.
Preceded in death by Husband, Cecil Ray; their son Richard; parents Samuel and Ruby Boudreaux; Siblings, Noble Boudreaux, and Samuel Boudreaux II, Rita B. Segreto, Pat B. Domke.
Pallbearers will be her 8 grandsons.
She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Landmark South Nursing and Rehab Center, Baton Rouge, LA. for their loving care and support to “Izzy” during her stay.
