Mary Rodriguez

A native of Sorrento and resident of Gonzales, she passed away at age 76 on Sunday, July 10, 2011, at Promise Hospital, Baton Rouge. Visitation at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, Wednesday, July 13, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Service at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Amant, Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment in Hope Haven Cemetery, La. 30, Gonzales. She is survived by four daughters, Wanda Jane Graffia, Wendy Jean Rodriguez, Mary Wileen Rodriguez, and Marsha Michelle Rushing and husband Jonathan four sons, Rodney James Rodriguez and wife Betty Jo, Randy Gene Rodriguez and wife Bonnie Faye, Ronald Joseph Rodriguez, and Ricky Jean Rodriguez and wife Brenda Starkey 13 grandchildren and 16 greatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Peter G. Rodriguez parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Trabeau son, Rusty John Rodriguez sister, Lois Allen soninlaw, Kenneth M. Graffia and two daughtersinlaw, Jennifer Rodriguez and Kristin Velardi. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, cleaning and crafts.
