Mildred G. "Mimi" Lavigne passed away December 10, 2024, at her residence in Gonzales, LA, at the age of 80. She was born August 13, 1944, in Somerville, MA.
She was a retired accountant with the Cracker Barrel Convenience Store and a member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Gonzales.
Mrs. Lavigne is survived by her husband, John "Ed" Lavigne, daughters and sons-in-law, Tonia and Curtis Galatas, Kim and David Poche', and Susan and Joey Pizzuto, son and daughter-in-law, John E. Lavigne, Jr., and Samantha Lavigne, 16 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Nancy Gaudin, and Steven and Jonda Gaudin.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Carmella Gaudin, stepmother, Mattie Gaudin, and granddaughter, Jessica Galatas.
Visitation will be Monday, December 16, 2024, from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Mark Catholic Church in Gonzales. Entombment will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Mausoleum.
The family would like to thank Pinnacle Hospice for their loving care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital.
