Milton P. Bourgeois, age 85, entered eternal life on August 1st, 2014. He was a native of Brignac and a resident of St. Amant. He was a weldermillwright employed at Burnside Terminal for 26 years prior to his retirement. Milton was an avid hunter and especially enjoyed late night fox and rabbit hunts with his friends, dogs, and coffee. He served in the U.S. Navy for 2 years in Guam. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 5th, at Holy Rosary in St. Amant from 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m., with Rev. Jason Palermo as celebrant. Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery. Survived by his wife of 60 years, Argelie Moran Bourgeois, daughter and soninlaw, Rebecca and Richard Bonneval sister, Lorraine Moran granddaughter and husband, Dareth Bonneval Waguespack and Dal Waguespack, and grandson and wife, Erik and Brandi Brazzel Bonneval 5 great granddaughters, Blythe, Ada, and Camille Waguespack, and Madison and Mylie Bonneval. Preceded in death by his children, Rocky Paul and Rockell Marie Bourgeois parents, Sidney and Ethel Lambert Bourgeois brother, Raul Bourgeois, and infant sister, Flora Bourgeois. The family would like to thank the staff and doctors of St. Elizabeth Hospital, Gonzales Health Care, Hospice In His Care, and Hospice Compassus for their compassion and care of Milton and the family during a difficult time.
