Milton Fricke went home to be with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 16th, 2022, at the age of 99. Milton was born in Metairie, Louisiana September 1922. He married Simone Klibert on June 12, 1947, and they celebrated 74 wonderful years of marriage till he went home to be with the Lord. Milton was a US ARMY veteran assigned to the seventh cavalry reconnaissance squadron served in France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany. He was a squad leader of 12 men in the second wave on Omaha Beach in World War II fighting for the freedom of our great country in which we highly honor him today. Over the years Milton told stories of when he was fighting in war how God spared his life so many times and at the age of 98 God through the Gospel revealed to Milton how much He loved him and wanted to spare his life eternally and Milton gave his life to the Lord. Milton is survived by his wife Simone Fricke, children Joan Kerner and husband Bruce, Karen Bourg, and husband Billy, Milton Fricke, and wife Robyn. Grandchildren Christina Trumps and husband Jonathan, Jeremy Kerner and wife Kristy, Jason Fricke and wife Alicia, and Jeffrey Fricke and wife Laura. Great Grandchildren Julia and Zoe Trumps, Jordan and Kyle Kerner, Ian, Collin, and Sarah Fricke and Courtney and Carly Fricke. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Mary Fricke and his siblings Amelia, Bernadine, Helen, Joseph, Henry, and Wilmer Fricke.
Milton in his early years enjoyed Hunting and fishing and was an all-around funny guy. Milton Fricke will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
