Myrtis L. Diaville, age 80, passed away peacefully at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice, Baton Rouge, LA on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at 7:10 a.m. A native of Sorrento, LA and resident of Gonzales, LA. Visiting on Monday, January 9, 2017, at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, Gonzales, from 8:00 a.m. until service at 10:00 a.m. conducted by Deacon Jodi Moscona. Entombment at Hope Haven Garden of Memory, Gonzales. She and her late husband enjoyed going to the COA (Council of Aging). She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Randall J. and Heather Diaville; brother, Curtis LeBlanc and wife, Charlene; and three grandchildren, Adam, Abby, and Ally Diaville. Preceded in death by her husband, James F. Diaville; parents, Windom and Julia LeBlanc; two sisters, Winnie LeBlanc and Elsie Fontenot; and a brother, Willis LeBlanc. She was a member of St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association at www.lung.org or your local animal shelter.
