A retired insurance agent with Stone and a resident of Prairieville and a native of New Orleans, LA.Passed away at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2013 at the age of 91 at the Carpenter House of Baton Rouge, LA. Nat was known as that Well known song writer of little known songs.
There will be a graveside service 4:00pm at the Hebrew Rest Cemetery in Gentilly conducted by Rabbi Edward Paul Cohn. Survivors: wife, Marianne Hinkley Halpern. Preceded in death: former wife, a Holacaust survivor, Regina Goldberg Lomm. Also his stepdaughter, Anette Lomm. Brother Leonard Halpern and cousin: Selma Coguenham. He was a member of Temple Sinai
