It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Norris Edward Arnold (Buster, Bubblegum and more fondly known as Gramps) Born, 2/9/1946, Norris passed away peacefully on 10/24/24. He was a life-long resident of Galvez/Prairieville.
Norris is proceeded in death by his parents, Wilmer and Olee Ferguson Arnold, a daughter Dana Michelle Arnold, a daughter in law Kelly Johnson Arnold, a Great Grandson Bryson Green and his loving wife Margaret Ann Bercegeay Arnold. He leaves behind 1 daughter, Dalynn Babin and 2 Sons – David Arnold (late wife Kelly Arnold), Daniel Arnold and his wife Heidi. 11 Grandchildren, Kayla, Tate, Taylor, Chelsie, Chassidy, Markie, Danielle, Katie, Kaitlyn, Drake and Chaz. 7 Great-Grandchildren who adored him, Bentlee, Baylen, Brayden, Bennett, Melanie, Odin, and Kayedin.
Norris found joy being with his grandkids and great grandkids, telling “big fish” stories and Treasure hunting (metal detecting) with his Club friends. Though his exterior was rough, He had a big heart and a kind soul.
Visitation will be at Ascension Funeral Home, Monday, October 28, 2024, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Visitation will continue Tuesday, from 9:00am until the funeral service at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Hope Haven Cemetery in Prairieville.
