Pasty D. and William “Bill” Ledbetter
Pasty passed away on August 13, 2021, at 2:07 a.m. at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center - Baton Rouge. She was 69 years old a native of Atlanta, Georgia, and a resident of Prairieville, LA. She is survived by four sisters; Janice Miller, Doris Bryant, Sheila Drummond, and Darlene LaRue. Preceded in death by her parents, Walter T., and Frances E. Mitchell; two sisters, Hazel Caulder and an infant sister, Betty Mitchell; one brother, Thomas ”Brother” Mitchell. Mr. Bill passed away on October 2, 2021, at 11:03 a.m. at the Carpenter House in Baton Rouge, LA. He was 71 years old a native of Atlanta, Georgia, and a resident of Prairieville. He was a retired supervisor from Syngenta. He is survived by a sister, Lavell Suggs, and a brother, James ”Jimmy” Ledbetter III. He is preceded in death by his parents, James “Alphie” Jr., and Bertha May Ledbetter; an infant brother, Jerry Ledbetter. Pasty and Bill are survived by three daughters, Priscilla Thomassie and husband Leslie, Jr.; Christie Ledbetter and companion Thomas Haulard, and Melissa Tallo and husband Russell, Jr.; seven grandchildren; Tony Thomassie, Ashleigh Tallo-Hood, Daniel Thomassie, Kristyn Tallo, Marti Thomassie, Courtney Tallo, and James Furtrell and three great-grandchildren; Cason Thomassie, Carter Guillory, and Sylas Turner.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by their children William “Scott” Ledbetter and Hazel “Renee” Ledbetter. Visiting at Healing Place Church Annex, 19202 Highland Road, Baton Rouge on Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 1:00 .p.m. until memorial service at 2:00 p.m.
