Rowena Hampton

Rowena Arceneaux Hampton “Rena” passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at 8:07 p.m. at the Butterfly Wing of Hospice of Baton Rouge. She was a native of St. Amant, LA, and a resident of Prairieville, LA. She was 94 years old, and a retired sitter for many years. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court St. Rose De Lima 1194. Visiting at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until service at 2:00 p.m., entombment in the church mausoleum. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Bourgeois and husband Leslie and, Barbara LeBlanc; a daughter-in-law, Diane Arceneaux; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; eight step-children, Gene Hampton and wife Phyllis, Sissy Wehr, Michael Hampton and, wife Eds, Debbie Jacobs and husband Bob, Louis Hampton and wife Vicki, Dewey Hampton, Cathy Ebberbach and husband Scotty and, Ron Hampton and wife Angele; fifteen step-grandchildren and nineteen step-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husbands, Aymond Arceneaux, Sr., and Lester Hampton, a son, Aymond Arceneaux, Jr.; step-son-in-law Dan Wehr; parents, Edward Carpenter and Louella Pertuit, Stepfather, Michael Pertuit.
