Shirley Nasr

At the age of 61, she died at her home in Geismar on Friday, December 24, 2010. The visitation will be at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 West New River St. in Gonzales, on Tuesday, December 28 from 69 pm and Wednesday, December 29 from 911 am with the service at 11 am. Service will be conducted by Mr. Daniel Wessell. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Thelma Barnes Haynes and her son Roy Templet, Jr. She is survived by two uncles and their wives two brothers, Jimmie Haynes and wife Janice and Melton Haynes and wife Brenda three daughters, Thelma and husband Pedro Ruiz, Tanasa and husband Don Penner, Sherry and husband Roland Brewer and her son William 147Buddy148 Templet Grandchildren, John, Robert, Cody, Justin, Brandon, Elena, Britney, Bridgett, Brayla, Blaize, Destiny, Brennan, James, Jazmine Greatgrandchildren, Joshua, Lanie and Bradyn and her dear friend Heather Ritz, who was like another daughter. Shirley was greatly loved and will be sorely missed.
