Stephen Stamm

A resident of Crowley, he died on Thursday, November 27, 2008 while visiting his family in Prairieville. He was 64 and a native of Baton Rouge and retired from the State of Louisiana where he worked alongside Governor Mike Fosters Clean Up Louisiana Campaign. Memorial services will be held at Little Prairie Baptist Church in Prairieville at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 6, 2008. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Farrar Nix of Baton Rouge, sister, Susan Stamm Kuhlmann and husband Richard, of Prairieville, four children; Stephen Michael and Shannon Gary Stamm, both of Houston, TX, Shelby Farrar Stamm of Baton Rouge and Sky Patrick Stamm of Prairieville, three grandchildren; Shannon Leigh, Stephani Marie and Shawn Michael Stamm. He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Morales Stamm. He graduated from Chamberlain Hunt Academy, attended L.S.U. and worked in the Health Club industry before beginning his career with the state.
