Valois Lavigne

Valois Eve Templet Lavigne passed away at Gonzales Healthcare Center on Monday, October 5, 2009, from complications of Alzheimers Disease. She was 86 and a resident of Gonzales, LA. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Visitation will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church from 9am until 11am on Thursday, October 8, 2009. Rev. Rubin Reynolds will celebrate a mass of Christian burial at 11am entombment will follow in Hope Haven Cemetery on Hwy 30. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Allie J. Lavigne, Sr., five sons and six daughters-in-law; Byron and Judith, John Edward and MildredMimi, Allie, Jr. Hubby and Sharon, Carol Ann, Samuel and Cynthia and Perry and Monica Lavigne; 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Preceded in death by her parents, John B., Sr. and Elmire B. Templet, a son, Charles Fred Bruce Lavigne, brothers, Paul, Dan and J.B.Templet, Jr., sisters, Mabel and Beatrice Templet.
